Tamagoyaki (Swettened Ommelete)

This is my second attempt of making the swettened ommelette.
My mum said it is delicious but a little salty.
Note to self : If I already added soy sauce, remember not to add any more salt.

Merry Christmas

Violin Class on 16/12/08

*walks upstairs and almost knocked my head on the ceiling*

*sees the teacher playing with another student inside the classroom*

*takes a chair and sits down*

*Tries to do the theory without avail*

OH ITS MY TURN NOW *jumps into the class*
(Oh wait I forgot my violin)

Location : In the small class that can only fit two people with their violins.
Time : 2.38 P.M ( My watch is fast by seven minutes so it is actually 2.31 P.M)
Characters in the scene : Me ( Inochigake H.)
Violin Teacher ( Uh.... Mozart? )
Items in the scene : An electric piano that is YAMAHA branded. My violin case, which contains a violin, a bow, the shoulder rest, and the red gem thingy. Also, my books and a huge stand for it.

Mozart : Take out your violin~
Inochigake H. : *takes out violin* ( 5 Minutes + 3 Minutes + 25 seconds )
Mozart : Did you practise at home? (While tuning the violin)
Inochigake H. : *Nods*
Mozart : Okay. Play number.... one. You try counting by yourself.
Inochigake H. : (Without counting ) F... E... D... E....(completes the piece)
Mozart : Very good, This piece too.
Inochigake H. : (Still without counting and completes the piece )
Mozart : Very good. Now. We will move on to a higher level. *turns two page ahead*
(The book shows a bar with lines, lined with notes that Inochigake H. Is illiterate to)
Mozart : This is the notes that you will use when you play the violin in the future.
Inochigake H. : *Blank face*
Mozart : Don't show me that look. Look at this note *takes out a piece of paper that is full of notes* Im going to need to play this for my concerto.
Inochigake H. : *Still blank face*
Mozart : Okay. Try playing now. You can refer to the examples first.
Inochigake H. : *Looks at the examples which notes are only G, D, A and E*
(Inochigake H. Analyzes tha data and sees that the bottommost one is the G string, followed by D, A and E )
Inochigake H. : *Plays the piece with a number of mistakes*
Mozart. : Very good, now the next one.
Inochigake H. : *Plays the next one with less mistakes*
Mozart. : Okay, this one may be a little hard. Try playing it.
Inochigake H. : * Tries to play and seeing that he played the wrong tune at the wrong note he panicked and came out with a loud violin screech*
Mozart : There there, mistakes do happen. Try again.
(Inochigake H. is now sweating and feeling nervous. People are looking at him from the outside of the classroom )
Inochigake H. : *Panicks and came out with another loud screech*
Mozart : Relax, spread your legs, take a deep breath and try again.
(Inochigake H. Feels as nervous as ever. If he doesn't do it right this time, the lesson will never end!! And he wants it to end fast so he can run out of the class protecting his face from ambarassment. )
Inochigake H. : *Plays it well this time, with a little mistakes*
Mozart : Good job. You can keep your violin and do your theory.
Inochigake H. : *keeps the violin slowly and went out of the room quietly*
(Mysteriously, nobody is outside. All the spectators were just illusions made up by his mind)
Mozart : Any problem with your theory?
Inochigake H. : *Shakes head*
Mozart : You don't talk much do you.

( At this point, the two characters stand up and bows to the audience. The curtain is then slowly pulled down)

(At the end, a voice is heard)
Inochigake H. :Im music note illiterate. LUKE TJON HELPPPPPPPP!!!

The End.

Like.. I should have made this for the drama club audition. I may have won for the script competition!!~

Anyways this is real life.
And I really need Luke Tjon's help if I want to memorise the nightmarish notes.

And so the day is still unsaved.

It really is a nightmare......

Cooking

Personally, I HATE COOKING. Its so much work : walk here and there, take up the heavy wok, frying.. and washing dishes. I barely even want to walk into the kitchen. But after the renovation, I go to the kitchen almost every day. It has suddenly become a wonderland.

And I even try to "cook".

( I sure hope this doesn't make me sound like Nicholas )

ANYWAY...

I tried to make a Tamagoyaki.

Tamagoyaki is Japanese food. Its sweetened egg ommelete. The recipes say that I should add in sugar, spice and everything nice and last but not least one dose of chemical.. Oh wait. Thats the wrong recipe. THIS IS THE REAL RECIPE!!!

( If Luke Tjon or any other readers feel like they hate cooking just don't scroll down because its all about what im trying to cook which is plain and boring )

THE INGREDIENTS!!!

4 Eggs ( But I use only one egg because I do not want to waste so much just to test out )
2 Tablespoons of sugar ( I divided it to half a teaspoon because im just using one egg )
1 Tablespoon of salt ( I added a two pinches )
1 Teaspoon of sake ( Sigh.. I can't add it in because I am not allowed to touch it yet )
1 Teaspoon of soy sauce ( Added maybe 4 drops )

Firstly, I break the eggs and put it in a bowl.
Secondly, I took out a small cup and added the sugar, salt and soy sauce.
Next, I mixed them together and stirred it. It was juat a little plain stirring, so as to not let any air bubbles get trapped in the mixture.
After that, I heated the wok and poured the mixture there. I fried them like mad. Then, brought them all together like a normal ommelette.
Then, when it was all cooked out, I took out kitchen foil ( I was supposed to use bamboo mats that are used for cooking ) And fold them so they would look like a long imbalanced cuboid. Then I cut it into two. ( The maximum for one egg but its still small like my thumb )
Lastly, I took off the aluminium foil.

I took a bite.

I was like... " Not bad... for a beginner... "
(What a narcissist)

Thats all for today!

Well then...

STOP STARING ALREADY!
(No Offence Readers.. )

Violin Class on 13/12/08

*reach*
*opens door*
Environment : Two students, one aged below 7 and one above 12 sits on both sides of the rectangular table. Slowly and swiftly I reached to my pocket and took out the taser I brought long ago and gets ready to shock... OH WAIT. That isn't right.

Anyways I just took out a chair and sat down in the middle of the two students. The teacher reached the scene at last and asked the one above 12 to enter. She played the violin so nicely you can see glitterdust coming out from the bow. Oh wait. Its supposed to be like that after you rub it with the red gem thingy.

Anyways when its my turn I walked into the class and having pried open the violin case, I began to take out my most prized possession. Slowly... steady...

(5 minutes)

I have done taking out the violin!! Now for the bow...

(2 minutes)

I have done rubbing the bow with the red gem thingy!! Now for my books..

(25 seconds)

Thats fast.

And then...

Teacher : You are too tall for the stand.

(longifies the stand)

Teacher : Play this piece.. and this piece... and this piece... plus this two over here.. and add it to this one, minus the sum of this one and try to multiply it with this one. If it doesn't work, try dividing first and then equalize them with linear equation.

Me : What?

Teacher : Play piece one to seven.

Me : Okay

Teacher : A one, A two, A one, two, three-

*Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech*

Teacher : WAIT!!

Me : ?

Teacher : Relax. Play it calmly.. relax while playing the violin..

Me : I'l try.

*Screech*

Teacher : No, you are too tense. calm down.. calm down... now start from the beginning again.

Me : Okay

B B B B A A A... (and completes the piece)

Teacher : Okay thats it for today, you can keep your violin and do your theory outside.

Me : (Sigh, and I was just getting the hang of it)

And thats what you call a good ending! ( I think)

Lessons learned

- Remember to relax and keep calm while playing the violin because neither it or the teacher wants to eat you up
- Doing theory helps you improve playing
- Don't write rubbish like me

Tada! another lesson learned.

The Power of the Mind

IS INDEED SURPREME.

It reigns over our body, and with our mind we are able to do everything. I think?

Case 1 :

A patient said that he/she felt better after being injected with just plain water.

Case 2 :

A plane ride that a certain someone plans to take gets cancelled when he dreams that the plane crashed and the plane does really crash, saving his life because he had cancelled the flight.

Case 3 :

A person froze to death in a fridge that had its power turned off.

These are true stories being summarized to make it easier to fit it in the blog ( else it'l be five one metre long by the time I finish writing )

So what do you think about the power of the mind??

Case 1
There are many possibilities of what may have happened. The patient may be too polite to mention that he is actually feeling worse. But that can't be the thing, because his sickness went away the next morning. It may havae been a coincidence, but well.. I think that the patients mind must have tricked itself into thinking that he felt better, making him actually feeling better the very next day.

Case 2
The person may be lying just to make himself famous, or maybe it was just a coincidence. Some people may say this case is supernaturally connected. But this indeed proves the power of the mind into creating a real incident based on the person's dreams.

Case 3
This must have been the craziest thing i've ever heard, but it did happen. One of the older workers accidently locked a newer aquaintance in the fridge, but the fridge was not used as a fridge anymore because it was broken a long time ago. The person inside the fridge just froze to death thinking that the inside of the fridge was freezing the whole time. They even found the person inside the fridge frozen when the workers came to unlock the fridge door. A coincidence? Nah. This proves the true power of the mind. Right?

I can connect this point with an old saying " You can if you want, you can't if you don't "

I don't think many people find this article I wrote interesting, but I myself sure do!!

(Inside my room at night)

I can play the violin right.. I can play the violin right... (chants 100 times before sleeping)

Well then !

Instrumentals of Ease

I get peace when I hear instrumentals. Instrumentals that are suitable to me. Music that beholds my mind in an easeful condition.

Musics made by ZUN from Touhou puts my mind at great ease. It suits me in many ways, creating an atmosphere many can't enjoy. I like musics made by ZUN, as it makes me addicted to hearing it again and again.

I also hope to be able to play those instrumentals with my violin one day even if im not talented.

That may be one of my dreams in the future. I sure hope that I can do it even if it means suffering with sore fingers and arms.

Hope it can be done.

If you are interested, you can find Touhou in Youtube. Those themes are nice.
